We begin again, O Creator God,
To study your world, your peoples,
Your teachings, the signs of your love,
And the signs of these difficult times.
Your Word opens the way,
Calling us to cherish the dignity
And the safety of all members
Of our communities—a sign
Of our compassion and solidarity,
our contribution to the common good.

Genetics has a lot to say about COVID-19. It is a virus, practically a strand of genetic material (RNA) in a capsule of protein and little more, all 600 times smaller than the diameter of a hair. Molecular biology experts say its origin is most likely natural. Genetic manipulation leaves traces in the genomic sequence, at the points where you do the “cut and paste” of the genetic information to be added, and these traces in the COV-2 would not be there... "It is never acceptable for the police to shoot at eye level at unarmed people; and unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. In a few months, the police killed several people in Freetown prisons, others in Lunsar, Tombo and now Makeni, [Sierra Leone]. And before that, in Tonko Limba and in Freetown, during the by-elections..." Read more of the reflection of Bishop Natale Paganelli SX, Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Makeni, Sierra Leone.

What she wore
The exhibit, "Men Lebsa Neber," is not supposed to make you feel comfortable. It’s not supposed to give you the ease of arm’s length feeling; not supposed to let you untense. You are meant to be shook. You are meant to be unnervingly close to agony, to struggle, to resilience, to fierce and beautiful survivors who dare to voice deep wounds so your eyes can see a jolting and unwavering truth. Monitoring Germany’s Supply Chains is not good enough
The German government has been under pressure from civil society groups for years to make such monitoring compulsory. That may now be in the cards: Under the coalition agreement, a survey result under 50% should trigger the government to draft legislation making compliance compulsory. Learn more.
