Every once in a while, God writes a story so beautiful that only He could receive the glory.

Today is one of those stories.

Today we celebrate Balinda—our beloved “B”—for 14 incredible years with Covenant Coffee.

For many people, fourteen years is simply a work anniversary.

For us, it is fourteen years of watching God redeem a life, strengthen a leader, and use one person’s story to inspire hundreds of others.

More Than an Employee—She’s Family

B isn’t just one of our longest-serving team members. She’s family. In many ways, she is like a daughter to me.

I’ve watched her laugh, cry, overcome impossible obstacles, grow in her faith, develop into an incredible leader, and become one of the most dependable people I’ve ever had the privilege to work alongside.

If you know B, you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you don’t, let me introduce you to someone who embodies the heart of Covenant Coffee.

Building Futures Through the THP+ Program

For many young adults aging out of foster care, turning 18 doesn't come with the safety net that most of us take for granted. That's where Covenant Community Services THP+ (Transitional Housing Program Plus) steps in.

Our THP+ program provides more than just support resources- it offers hope. Young adults receive support while they find housing, employment and stability while working alongside caring staff that help them build the skills needed for lasting independence. From budgeting and employment readiness to higher education, life skills, and personal goal setting, every participant is equipped with the tools to create a brighter future.

At Covenant, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, not just survive. Through consistent mentoring, individualized case management, and a supportive community, our THP+ program empowers former foster youth to build confidence, achieve stability and puruse their dreams.

Every success story begins with someone who believed in them. Together, we are creating a foundation for a lifetime of hope.

Help a Family Start Their Journey!

Do you have the gift of hospitality and service and a heart for blessing others? We are looking for people to sponsor a baby shower for our youth who are embarking on parenthood.

Case Manager Linda reminds us that "Baby showers allow us to celebrate God’s beautiful blessing of new life while surrounding parents-to-be with love, support, and the essentials they need!"

We want to come alongside them and let them know they aren't doing this alone. If you want to help sponsor a baby shower for our youth, reach out and we will give you practical ways you can get involved.

We can always use donations of diapers, wipes and baby essentials as well.

Help Build Hope. Teach Skills That Change Lives.

At Covenant Community Services, we believe every young adult deserves the opportunity to thrive.

We are looking for passionate individuals to teach Life Skills classes that equip young adults with the practical knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.

Topics May Include:

Cooking and nutrition
Communication and conflict resolution
Time management and organization
Healthy relationships and personal wellness
Goal setting and personal growth

As a Life Skills Teacher, you'll do more than share information—you'll encourage, inspire, and invest in young people as they transition to independent adulthood.
