Power Tools & Tips For Workplace Leaders
The 'Silver Bullet' to Building Great Company Culture!
Every employer wants to have a strong company culture where workers feel happy and comfortable and are ready to work each day. And the secret -the silver bullet- to achieving that? TRUST!!

A study from Harvard Business Review found those who work in a high-trust environment have 74% less stress than those who do not. Some other benefits the study discovered include more energy, higher levels of engagement, fewer sick days and less burnout. And those factors lead to greater productivity, higher quality and increased profits. Below are few tips to achieving positive company culture!
#1
Be Transparent

Always communicate openly with staff. It is a surefire way to gain their trust. An open-door policy lets employees know all thoughts and questions are welcome. Holding regular meetings to keep everyone in the loop helps to do this as well.
#2
Be Clear

A lot of workers are unsure of their companies’ goals and their managers expectations. Make sure your employees know exactly where the company is heading and why, and how everyone helps achieve these goals.
#3
Keep Your Word

Nothing destroys trust more than not following through on something. If you tell an employee you will look into getting them help on a project, make sure you keep your word. This will emphasize reliability at work.
#4
Get to Know Everyone

Getting familiar with people’s personal and professional goals will let your staff know you care about them on a human level. Being genuinely interested in your people will naturally foster trust.
Trust does not just materialize overnight. In fact, it is something that needs to be built purposefully.

Deadlines Are Quickly Approaching...
Are you ready?

W-2 Forms
According to the Internal Revenue Service, W-2 forms should be mailed out to employees by no later than February 1, 2021 for forms derived from the previous calendar year. While employees may not receive them in the mail on this date, they must, at the very least, be sent out at this point.

ACA Reporting
The IRS announced that the deadline to provide employees with the Form 1095-B has been delayed from January 31, 2021 to March 2, 2021. The forms, which outline employer-provided medical benefits, must be submitted annually by businesses with 50 or more full-time workers. The IRS uses these reports to track employer compliance. While the penalty for individuals not having insurance has been repealed with last year's tax reform law, employer mandate penalties remain in full effect for businesses.

EEO-1 Report
In light of the pandemic, the EEOC will not collect 2019 data until March 2021, and states it will notify filers of the precise date the surveys will open as soon as it is available. When the portal opens in 2021, employers will be expected to submit EEO-1 reports for both 2019 and 2020.
