Greetings!

As we close out 2025, we reflect on a year of growth, transformation, and deeper commitment to the LGBTQ+ communities we serve across Texas. 

This year marked a historic milestone for our organization: after years of development and partnership under The Dallas Foundation, we stepped forward as a fully independent, standalone foundation. That time together allowed us to grow into our purpose, strengthen our infrastructure, and prepare for the next chapter of service and impact. 

With this transition, our name evolved from Texas Pride Impact Funds to Texas Pride Community Foundation. A shift that represents far more than a new identity. It reflects our dedication to building a stronger, more inclusive philanthropic network that uplifts LGBTQ+ Texans in every corner of the state.

We spent the year building strong, durable infrastructure: new policies, enterprise systems, and governance that will sustain our mission for generations. A community foundation is more than a grant maker. It is a long-term partner. One that cultivates resources, strengthens grassroots leadership, amplifies local voices, and ensures that LGBTQ+ Texans have access to safe spaces, affirming care, and opportunities to thrive. 

Next month, our board will finalize a new strategic plan that frames the next decade around three priorities: 

• Grow our permanent endowment to secure long-term funding for LGBTQ+ Texans. 
• Advance our leadership and staffing to strengthen a statewide institution built by and for our community. 
• Expand our role as a statewide convener, helping LGBTQ+ nonprofits grow their impact not only through grants, but through collaboration and resources. 

In 2025, even as we navigated major organizational change, our commitment to LGBTQ+ Texans never wavered. Through our Community Grants and Texas Health Impact Cohort, we stood alongside more than 30 organizations whose work is nothing short of life-affirming—expanding healthcare, opening doors to essential services, uplifting our youth, strengthening community resilience, and defending equality in a moment when our communities need it most.

As we move into 2026, our role as a community foundation positions us to deepen this impact. We are committed to being a trusted resource for donors, partners, allies, and community organizations helping build long-term, sustainable support systems that will carry our communities through the challenges of today and the possibilities of tomorrow. 

Our commitment is clear: We will be here today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.

We cannot stop hoping, dreaming, working, and building the communities we deserve; places where all LGBTQ people can thrive and be who they are, where they are.
