Building Momentum & Equipping for Success

Dear ministry partner,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We praise the Lord for His loving hands, so we can step back into the ministry once again and care for our families as well.

Pastor J and the National Director attended a seminar on Church Planting Essentials through DCPI-Dynamic Church Planting International, under the leadership of the Regional Director of SE Asia, from April 21 - 26 in Thailand. This seminar was an eye-opening experience for ministry leaders and a valuable tool for church planters and CCI alumni alike. There are certain principles that most church planters don't apply seriously. God willing, I plan to share this tool with as many church planters as possible, along with other CCI resources, to equip them effectively.

On May 29-30, Pastor J and the National Director had the opportunity to lead the Teachers Training Workshop at a local church. The church pastor kindly invited all his eighteen coworkers to attend. The participants were deeply moved by the workshop material, and nine of them committed to taking the materials back to their own churches.

Praise the Lord! Pastor D in Malaysia has started a training class with thirteen students at his church. Despite the challenges faced by some of the students due to their life circumstances in Malaysia, half of them were able to attend in person, while the others joined the class remotely via Zoom. Thankfully, all the students are highly engaged and enthusiastic about their learning experience.

Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support.

May the Lord richly bless you.

Blessings,

CCI Myanmar National Director

Testimonies

“The material is a great blessing for us. We had long considered training believers to reach their communities, but we lacked the right tools. We had been longing for a good tool like this and praying to God. And we see this as the answer to our prayer, given by God. I will continue to use this tool to equip more laborers to be more effective in their ministry and expand the kingdom here and beyond. I've found myself improved when I prepared the lessons and trained my coworkers. I love it and thank you.”

Pastor D

"I am deeply grateful to God for bringing His messengers to share new insights and revive my ministry life through this seminar on Church Planting Essentials. I also want to express my heartfelt appreciation to CCI for allowing me to participate in this seminar.

This seminar has helped me re-evaluate the past twenty years of my ministry. I've discovered that the seminar emphasizes the importance of building strong and qualified leaders, planting churches as many as possible to fulfill the Great Commission, and focusing on biblical principles. However, I've only focused on growing my church, and I've realized that this is the reason why my church is not growing as I had hoped. It's clear that I need to improve my understanding of biblical church planting principles and build a team. I also recognize the importance of having a mentor for encouragement and correction. While I've learned much more from this seminar than what I've mentioned here, I am blessed and refreshed now to move forward in the harvest. Thank you, and thank you again."

Praise points:

o  We were blessed to have a good time with our young people as we studied the Word for four days during the Water festival - an unexpected blessing! It was a truly eye-opening experience. Many parents were grateful to see their children enjoying their walk with the Lord.

o  We are thankful to God for CCI's provision of flight costs, allowing us to attend a seminar on Dynamics Church Planting International under the leadership of the SE Asia Regional Director. This seminar is a valuable resource for church planters, including CCI alumni. We are grateful for God's provision and blessings, and we recognize that He is always good in all that He does.

o  Pastor J and the National Director led a Teachers Training Workshop. The workshop was well-attended, with 18 pastors participating and eager to learn how to train their own teams. Nine of these pastors committed to using the material to train their own teams for the harvest season.

o  Pastor D in Malaysia was able to start the training class two weeks ago with thirteen students who are his coworkers. They are blessed by the material.

Prayer points:

o  CCI-Myanmar held a meeting with Area Leaders on May 15-17 to share ministry experiences and challenges, encourage one another with the Word, and prayer. We discussed how best we can do the ministry during crisis and introduce the DCPI in our own area. Please pray for guidance and wisdom on how to serve and support during times of crisis, and for courage to introduce the DCPI in their area.

o  Pastor J and the National Director will hold a three-days evangelistic seminar to fifteen church planters in south central Myanmar. They desperately need God’s power and protection.

o  Pray for new classes and pastors who plan to start CCI classes, that God will give them wisdom.

o  Pray for my children's education, good health, wisdom and fees that only God can supply.

o  This devaluation of our support is drastically affecting our family’s food budget. We are asking the Lord to provide an increase of $250.00 per month to meet these basic needs. Please consider making a new monthly commitment today to help meet this need. We thank you in advance for your help.
