Washington State University's Master Gardeners program partners with our Homeowner partners to build gardens with them. Our Habitat Homeowners love this because they can grow their own food in their backyard. Each family has a choice between a raised bed (4ftx 8ft) and a flat plot (10ftx10ft). On top of building gardens for our families, Master Gardeners also provides seeds for our families each year. Tri-County Partners Habitat would like to thank Master Gardeners for all that they have done for Habitat and our Homeowners. If anyone would like some seeds, come down to the Habitat office we still have plenty available!

Wehe Ave Lot #4 – Our dedication date for this first home on Wehe Ave is set for Saturday, April 22^nd. During the month of April we will complete installing cabinets while our subs put the finishing touches on the plumbing and electrical systems. We will do exterior painting and touch up the paint inside and it will be ready to hand over to the new homeowners. 

Wehe Ave Lot #5 - Drywall will be going up inside this home the first week of April, followed by our drywall finishers. We plan to install the driveway and porches, irrigation system, floors, doors, and interior trim in April; as well as paint the exterior. 923 Wehe is scheduled for dedication on Saturday, May 27^th.

Wehe Ave Lot #6 – Tri-Tech is hustling to get the trusses set on this home before they go on Spring Break the first week of April. When they get back, they will start on installing windows and siding as well as preparing the inside for insulation. This home will be turned over to the homeowners near the end of June

Wehe Ave Lots #7 - Currently a staging area, this home will get started in earnest in April. Tri-Tech’s framing crew will start building the walls about mid-April. We expect the outer shell (walls, roof, siding) to be complete by the middle of May and the entire home to be completed in August.

Wehe Ave Lots #8 - Foundations have been excavated and we will start the concrete work this week. Foundations should be complete in the next couple of weeks and the Tri-Tech framing crew will begin framing walls before the end of April. We plan to finish this home in September.

Wehe Ave Lot #9-10 We recently laid out the foundations for this lot, which will be excavated this week. Concrete work will follow, and we anticipate that Tri-Tech will be able to complete framing, roofing and siding before they leave for summer vacation. Our crews will finish the home over the summer and we expect to dedicate it in the late fall.

This last home on Wehe will be the first home Tri-Tech builds in the fall, when the new school year begins. We will install the concrete foundations over the summer. If all goes well, we will complete this home just before the end of the year.
