March 2026 Newsletter:

Greetings!

As stewards, we are called to see our resources not merely as tools for personal security, but as instruments God uses to bless others. Scripture reminds us, “Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2). Faithfulness in investing means seeking wisdom, practicing patience, and remembering that our ultimate trust is not in markets but in the Lord who oversees all things.

While markets rise and fall, God’s mission continues to move forward—often through ordinary people making faithful decisions with what they’ve been given. Every investment decision shaped by biblical values becomes part of a larger story of restoration and impact. Thank you for choosing to steward your resources in a way that aligns with your faith and advances God’s Kingdom in the marketplace and beyond.

Building Resilience, One Home at a Time

Across Appalachia, communities face significant economic and housing challenges, particularly in rural regions where resources can be limited. Fahe, a purpose-driven network of more than 50 community-based nonprofits, is working to change that. Through initiatives focused on affordable housing, economic development, and sustainable community growth, Fahe helps create stability and opportunity for families throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Alabama, and Maryland. Since 1980, the organization has invested over $2 billion to support communities and improve the lives of more than one million people.

The story of Arnold and Virginia Weaver in eastern Kentucky highlights the impact of these efforts. After catastrophic flooding destroyed their home, the Weavers faced uncertainty about their future. Through the Housing Can’t Wait initiative—a collaborative effort among Fahe members and housing partners—families like the Weavers have received critical help rebuilding their homes and their lives. Since 2022, the initiative has built 88 new homes and rehabilitated more than 300 others, allowing families to remain rooted in their communities despite devastating circumstances.

Praxis Investment Management supports efforts like this through investments in Calvert Impact, directing a portion of fund assets toward community development initiatives around the world.

Your faith-aligned investments help support community development initiatives that strengthen families, rebuild neighborhoods, and create lasting opportunity in underserved regions.

Faith-based investing allows believers to steward capital in ways that reflect God’s heart for restoration, dignity, and flourishing communities.

Recent global headlines have once again reminded investors how quickly uncertainty can arise. Escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly involving Iran, created short-term volatility in global markets and energy prices. While these events can feel unsettling in the moment, history shows that markets have consistently demonstrated resilience through geopolitical conflicts, political shifts, and economic surprises.

Even with recent market fluctuations, underlying economic factors such as continued corporate earnings growth, fiscal stimulus, and long-term investment in innovation—particularly artificial intelligence—continue to support a constructive outlook for the years ahead. Market participation has broadened this year, with many companies performing well even while a handful of large technology stocks have weighed on major index performance.

For long-term investors, moments like these serve as reminders that wise stewardship is grounded in patience and perspective. Rather than reacting to short-term headlines, disciplined investors focus on long-term objectives and the bigger picture of economic growth and opportunity.

“He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.” — Proverbs 11:28

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” — Proverbs 21:5

“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” — Proverbs 3:9

Biblical stewardship begins with recognizing that everything we have ultimately belongs to God. When we honor Him with our resources—including our investments—we align our financial lives with His purposes. Faith-based investing is one practical way believers can do this, seeking not only financial return but also spiritual impact. By thoughtfully directing capital toward companies and initiatives that reflect biblical values, we participate in God’s work of restoration in the world while still wisely preparing for the future.
