  • Building STEPS high school seniors will participate in a special activity designed to improve networking skills on January 25th at Towson University from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. We welcome volunteers to lend their expertise and feedback for the students.   • Building STEPS welcomes new junior seminar day partners: Videology and Digital Harbor Foundation. These organizations help tremendously in our efforts to expose our students to a variety of career options in the field of technology.

  • We're pleased to welcome Jennifer Descoteau, Building STEPS Development Associate. Jennifer's role includes the planning and implementation of strategic philanthropy.
     

Alumni Accolades
  • Nearly 40 of our Building STEPS graduates came together for the holiday alumni event. Nice to see our alumni networking! 
     
  • Under the leadership of Ashly B., Building STEPS alumni Jeffrey D. and Andrea V. volunteered for Moveable Feast, packaging over 1,000 meal trays for homebound individuals. 
     
  • Congratulations to Christina M., Ithaca College, '16, on her physical therapy position at Life Fitness Physical Therapy and on her recent engagement.

Building STEPS is a nonprofit that equips Baltimore City's brightest students with the tools to propel them to college and career success.  Built on one simple principle; a college education changes a person's life. More than 80 percent of Building STEPS graduates earn a college degree and almost all are the first to do so in their family.
