Good morning, HBIC family,

By now, you may have seen the news that our building sustained some serious damage from this morning's storm. Damage to the roof has caused flooding in the various parts of the upstairs office area, which is also causing flooding in the children's classrooms (check out the video here). The damage is not building-wide at this point, for which we are grateful. 

Currently, there is no need for additional help at the building as we wait for next steps. We will send further updates as we have them in regards to ways you can support the clean-up and this weekend's services. Keep checking emails (and please relay updates to those you know who may not use email) to stay in the loop! 

Ultimately, we thank God that no one was in the building. We're praying that each of you, wherever you are, are safe! May the words of Psalm 46 comfort us as we move forward together in the coming days: "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
