As we approach the end of the year, I would like to thank you for all of your support in 2025. Your generosity allowed us to help thousands of people in need around the world this year.
RWF's work not only saves and improves lives but also strengthens our community by enhancing LGBTQ+ visibility. RWF serves as a platform to showcase our community's compassion and concern, while transforming global perceptions of LGBTQ+ individuals by fostering connections with the world community.
In areas where LGBTQ+ rights are nearly nonexistent, your support has the strength to dismantle oppression and amplify LGBTQ+ voices, empowering them to rise above systemic challenges and reclaim their rights.
In 2025, donor and volunteer support allowed us to:
- Evacuated and resettled 450 endangered LGBTQ+ Afghan refugees and human rights defenders
- Provided aid to transgender activists in Guatemala & India
- Provided aid to orphans in Mexico
- Provided aid to physically disabled Guatemalans
- Completed our eleventh humanitarian journey to Cuba in May
- Funded children’s education in Uganda
- Provided emergency grants for Middle East LGBTQ+ refugees
- Funded LGBTQ+ legal defense in El Salvador
- Provided aid to endangered LGBTQ+ Ugandans
- Funded an LGBTQ+ emergency shelter in El Salvador
- Participated in the 55th Anniversary of LGBTQ+ Pride in San Francisco
- Created the 20th Annual RWF World Tree of Hope in December
