To our amazement, Jesus' words to the church at Laodicea are both the angriest and the most gracious words he gives these seven churches! Angry? "I will spit (or vomit) you out!" Gracious? "I stand and knock--if anyone opens, I will come in..." And these words are also for people like us -- tempted with comfort to be lukewarm in our faith.

Pray for High School Students at Catalina Island

This weekend, 200 students and counselors will be on Catalina Island. Pray for their safety. Pray that it's filled with joy, laughter, and new friendships, but most of all, may it be filled with knowing God's presence. Pray that this camp be a place where faith grows deeper, where lives are transformed, and where God's love is made real in powerful ways. Let each student leave encouraged, equipped, and excited to live for You.
