We pride ourselves in prioritizing continuous improvement so we can provide the most effective, valuable program for our families possible. One of the ways we are doing this is by evaluating our program in partnership with the UNM Evaluation Lab.
After completing 2 years of the 3-year project, we have some exciting findings to share!
ANYONE CAN SUCCEED. No entering characteristic, not even substance abuse, influences whether or not a family succeeds. Large or small families, old or young, education level- nothing matters more than your determination.
THE MORE YOU PUT IN, THE MORE YOU GET OUT. Adults who had higher participation rates in Saranam classes were more likely to meet 3 or more measures of success.
TIME MATTERS. The longer families stay in the program, the more successful they are. Families who stay in for at least 52 weeks have a 94% success rate of exiting the program, and it only increases from there.
There is much, much more to come from this initiative, but we are so emboldened by these initial findings. What we do works. Families who commit can do it! Thank you to the Anderson Charitable Foundation for supporting this important project!
