Bulk Trash Pickup Service Resumes on Monday

Beginning on Monday, October 30, regular bulk trash pickup service resumes in Coral Gables.

We appreciate everyone's patience during the time this service was suspended.

Please make sure your weekly bulk trash is placed no earlier than 6 p.m. the day prior and no later than 7 a.m. on your regular collection day.  Yard waste can be placed on your swale at any time.

As always, please do not  place trash near swale trees or on top of water meters, drain grates, or other utilities .

Due to the expected larger than usual amounts of bulk trash, our crews may arrive later than usual, and pick up may be delayed by a few days. Please note that collection crews may need to work extended hours in order to catch up.

If your bulk trash collection is delayed, please leave it out until it is picked up. We will be by to collect it, even if it is on the weekend during the first week service returns.

If you have any questions, please contact 305-460-5346 or 305-460-5000.
Special Commission Meeting on Little Gables Annexation: November 1, 7 p.m.

The City Commission will hold a Special Commission Meeting on Wednesday, November 1, 7 p.m., at the Adult Activity Center located at 2 Andalusia Avenue to discuss the possible annexation of the Little Gables neighborhood into the City of Coral Gables. At this meeting, the Coral Gables City Commission will consider the approval of a resolution to Miami-Dade County requesting the annexation of Little Gables. The meeting is open to Coral Gables residents as well as to county residents in Little Gables. Should annexation of Little Gables move forward, the City will hire additional police officers, neighborhood safety aides and code enforcement officers to ensure resident services continue at the high level Gables residents expect. Complimentary parking is available in The Palace garage above the center. For more information, contact the City of Coral Gables Government Affairs Manager Naomi Levi Garcia at 305-460-5248.
