Good evening, San Gabriel

Thanks for joining us at this year's Dumpling & Beer Fest - we hope you had a great time. As we gear up for the Halloween season, be sure to register for this year's costume contest at the Fall Fun Festival on October 26.

Also, be sure to bring your bulky items to our bulky item and electronic waste clean-up event on October 13 from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. at the Public Works yard. This is a great way to safely dispose of any large items that you may have in your household.

Now, here's what's making news for the week of October 10, 2018:
Public Works requests City Council
approval for several road improvements
To complete paving work, Public Works is requesting a budget increase of $29,543.76. In March 2018, the City Council approved a contract by Hardy & Harper, Inc to improve several areas along Broadway, Live Oak Street and San Gabriel Boulevard using Community Development Block Grant funds and City funds.

You can read more about this and other items in our preview of the October 16 City Council meeting.
