  • Attention 9th Grade Students: The Temple Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math & Science Programs are federally-funded college access programs designed to provide first-generation, low-income, and/or students at academic risk the supports needed to pursue and be successful through a college degree. The programs operate year-round and consist of weekday after-school tutoring and college access programming, Saturday academic instruction and enrichment, and a six-week summer program that culminates with a multi-day trip touring college campuses. Applications are due April 22, 2022.
Activities Highlight: Students participated in a spirit week full of themed dress down days organized by student council. Check out some outifts from "Dress Like an Old Person" day:
Athletics and Activities Corner
Our high school Chess team has been very active this season with practices and competitions. This month, they participated in the PJAA Chess Championships at City School and brought back a championship trophy.

The winning team, pictured here, consisted of the following students: Emmanuel Hernandez, Connor Kushnir, Alexis Pennycooke, Kahseem Williams, Christy Saju, Richard Hoepfl, Haylee Perez, and Angel Beard.

Nylah Rose Ryan-Brown

Nylah Rose Ryan-Brown is currently a second grade student at New Foundations. She is new to New Foundations this year and fits right in with our school community.

Nylah shines bright in the classroom and constantly brings phenomenal energy to her classmates.
