Classroom Recap: The sixth grade homerooms were joined by writing guru, Scott Feifer, for a fast, reflective writing process. Students were given a prompt and were encouraged to write about their hopes and aspirations for the upcoming year. A few brave individuals were able to share their voices and offered their classmates a greater awareness of what they are going through- both successes and failures. • Dress Warm Reminder: Please make sure to send warm outerwear to school with your child as our K-8 students go out for recess all winter! As long as it's safe to do so, we want to get students outside for 20 minutes of movement, socialization, and mask breaks. While we could keep classes indoors for things like heavy wind, precipitation, and extremely low/high temperatures, we expect to be outside most days during the winter months and want to make sure our students are prepared.
  • Due to construction at the Rhawn Street entrance this week, only the Torresdale Avenue gate will be used. This means that all staff and visitors will have to use the gate on Torresdale Ave. Please keep the area in front of the main gate on Torresdale Avenue clear during arrival so that all staff have access to the parking lot. Thank you for your flexibility and patience!
