K-5 Activity Highlight: Our K-5 students participated in service day by creating cards, posters, and videos for those living in isolation and retirement communities. The students did a wonderful job, including personalized cards by Mr. Neswick's 2nd graders and flipgrid videos by Ms. Picot's 3rd graders. Additionally, the 4th grade was visited by Laura from Elmwood Park Zoo who showed off a screech owl and answered questions from our students. 4th Grade teacher Harry Uhl stated: "Thank you again for the Guest speaker. The owl was perfect. Grade 4 just discussed the owl using camouflage yesterday. My lesson topic this week was adaptations and Laura hit it on the head. The students were absolutely engaged and asked fantastic questions."

Bulldog Spotlight of the Week
Delaney Hampton
Delaney Hampton, a current senior at NFCS, recently completed her Gold Award for Girl Scouts where she compiled resources about COVID-19.

Delaney and her team designed a very detailed website that includes a variety of informative resources and tips such as: interviews with nurses, things to do during quarantine, why masks and social distancing are important, etc. We encourage the NFCS community to visit her website and pledge to COVID-19 safety.

Join us in celebrating Delaney for being an outstanding member of our caring community!
