  • Nursing Department Reminder & Update: Please review the letter you received from the nursing department on Monday. All students must have up to date paperwork on file to return to school this fall.
  • Attention 12th & 8th Grade Families! Do you still need to pick up your Class of 2021 lawn sign? You can do so on in person learning days (M,T,Th,F) between 7am-2:30pm at the high school security desk. 
  • As you may know, legislators are being pushed to cut funding to charter schools and limit educational options for Pennsylvania families. 143K Rising was created to give families a voice in the battle to protect public charter schools. We wanted to share this resource with you, so that you can participate in the conversation if you feel moved to do so. Your support is appreciated.
  • Are you approved for free/reduced lunch? If so, you should be receiving the Pandemic-EBT benefit. Learn more by reading the letter that was emailed to all families on Monday.
In an effort to better support all members in our diverse community, Project 4 Foundation has set up a language support program. This student-run program offers language services in various languages. Click the flyers below to learn more:

  • Instrument Return for Grades 5-8: In attempt to maintain social distancing guidelines, please place your instruments on the labeled table in the front hallway.
  • Office Hours are available by appointment only for additional student support.
  • Please remember that if your child has a doctor appointment or other excused absence (court date, death in family, etc.) it will only be excused with an official note from the doctor or other office. You can submit scanned notes to [email protected].
  • Classroom Highlight: Kindergarten was joined by scientist Dr. Paula McCourt. She taught students how to conduct 3 experiments with adult supervision using basic household items. She described her uniform and safety gear and displayed all the equipment that she uses in the lab. She had a special assistant, her daughter Elizabeth. The students were so excited to know that they are all scientists each and every day!

Attention 9th Graders! We are really excited to offer you the opportunity to submit your own selfie/portrait, as we will use it as your portrait in the yearbook.

Please wear an NFCS approved shirt (Provided by NFCS, or solid maroon/gold/black/white color).

If you do not submit a photo, only your name will appear.

  • We hope the Class of 2021 had an awesome time at their senior prom! If you attended the prom, please share some of your favorite photos with us HERE.

  • Juniors and Seniors, don't forget to check out our College/Career Visit Calendar to attend information sessions and network with representatives from different postsecondary options. The calendar can be found on the counseling page of our website and will be updated regularly in real time. Want to learn more about a postsecondary opportunity and don't see it listed on the calendar? Reach out to your counselor!
  • Attention Seniors: Please take a moment and share with us your Senior Plans, Acceptances, & Scholarship Awards. We look forward to celebrating you!
  • Seniors: Final Transcript Request Form - We encourage each senior to complete the final transcript request form by Friday, June 11th. Any questions about the form or final transcript can be directed to your assigned HS counselor.
Bulldog Spotlight of the Week
Ms. Evelyn Martinez
Ms. Evelyn Martinez is currently a K-8 Non-Teaching Assistant at New Foundations.

Ms. Martinez supports our staff and students on a daily basis with attendance and many other responsibilities around the classrooms. She is a team player that is happy to jump in and help however she can.

Thank you Ms. Martinez for everything you do for our staff and students and being part of our caring school community!
