Bulldog Spotlight of the Week
Jesse DeRocco
Jesse DeRocco is a 2017 graduate of New Foundations. He is currently a senior film major at the University of the Arts, and an intern at National Lampoon. He has been a part of a few short film festivals and is working on his senior thesis, which involves directing a short film.

At NFCS, Jesse, along with Mr. Bullock, Mr. Rufo, and fellow alum, Kunal Duggal, started Film Club. Being a part of Film Club and video project assignments in his classes were Jesse's favorite parts of high school. In fact, these experiences pushed him to study film.

Jesse is working on his senior thesis, but it's proven to film during COVID. He started a GoFundMe to help cover filming and production costs, including rapid testing for the small group of people he is working with.

To find out more about Jesse's senior thesis, check out his GoFundMe!
