The SNS Community Staying Connected
A little rain and cold wind couldn’t stop last Friday’s Halloween parade and Upper School tail gate celebration. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who created the candy bags for all the students, decorated the dining hall and the PAC, took pictures of all the festivities, and planned the classroom celebrations. 2021-22 RE-REGISTRATION FORM
It’s re-enrollment time for Pre-Kindergarten 4 to 8th grade for the 2021-2022 school year. Please return the registration form for returning students by Monday, November 16th to be assured a seat for your child for next school year. Mark your calendars for the virtual STATE OF SNS GENERAL SCHOOL MEETING next Tuesday, 11/10 at 7 PM. Please plan to “attend” to hear reports from the Advisory Board and Home & School Association as well as updates about the school’s Health & Safety plan and upcoming events.  
The school will be collecting leftover HALLOWEEN CANDY FOR THE TROOPS and local shelters. Please send in any extra candy to the school office by Friday, 11/13. The troops and shelters are always grateful for these sweet treats.  
Each family’s new 2020-21 SCHOOL DIRECTORY will be sent home via the youngest child’s backpack on Thursday afternoon. Please keep your school directory in a safe place for quick reference. 
PICTURE RE-TAKES will take place on Tuesday, 12/8 at 8:15 AM. If your child was absent on the first picture day, please remember he/she must bring in their order form envelope to have their picture taken. For any re-takes, the student must bring back the first photo taken. Students must wear their regular uniform for school pictures.  
Don’t forget the UNIFORM EXCHANGE for replacement or extra uniform pieces, especially during the change of season. It is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. 
WAWA SHORTI HOAGIE COUPONS are perfect to use for lunches, dinners on the go or game days. All proceeds benefit the 8th grade. Click HERE for an order form.
Bishop Shanahan High School
Personal tours will be offered on Sunday, 11/15 from 12 NOON to 3:00 PM. A Shanahan ambassador will accompany the prospective student and up to 2 parents/guardians providing in-depth information about the wonderful opportunities that Shanahan has to offer. More info is available online at shanahan.org.
Roman Catholic High School
RCHS will be holding a scholarship entrance exam on the following dates: Saturday, 11/14, Sunday, 11/22, and Saturday, 12/5. Testing will begin at 9:00 AM. Please click HERE to register.  
The “girls” emerged victorious from the annual 8th grade field hockey game last Friday afternoon with a score of 1-0. Special thanks to the 7th grade squad who cheered on the teams during the game.
