Stations of the Cross
On Fridays during Lent, the students will attend Stations of the Cross at 2:00 PM. The 8th graders will lead the stations in prayer and song. Family members, parishioners and friends are invited to join us on "The Way of the Cross." The photos below are from Stations of the Cross on Friday, 3/4.
Introduction to Upper School Meeting
Digital invitations are being sent out to all 3rd and 4th grade parents for an Introduction to Upper School Meeting. This will be held Tuesday, 3/22 at 7pm in school. Come and learn more about what the Upper School offers our kids as they prepare in the important pre-high school years. This will be an overview of the grades and what makes upper school different from lower school. Also the success via high school admission, scholarships, and college admissions of our graduates.  Any questions about this evening please contact Lara Ciesinski at laraciesinski@gmail.com or Maura Goll at gollfamily08@gmail.com

Help for the 8th Grade!
The 8th Grade traditionally holds fundraisers for the whole school to participate in. These fundraisers help defer costs for their 100 days until graduation celebration, the Graduation Dinner, and the class gift to the school which this year will be a refillable water station.

The 8th grade had such a successful dress-down day fundraiser on Friday, 3/4 they wanted to send out a giant THANK YOU to all! The Class of 2022 sends special thanks to everyone who participated. They raised $1245.47! Thank you to all of the SNS families for their generosity!

Let's Play Ball!
The Mother/Son Reading Phillies event is back! Take your son(s) and watch the Fightin' Phils play at Energy Stadium in Reading, on Friday, April 22nd. The SNS boys will carry out the flag for the National Anthem. One lucky boy will have his name pulled to throw out the first pitch. Tickets are $30 each which includes the barbeque buffet from 6:00-8:30. New Bulldogs at the Park tee shirts are available to order. Use this form to order your tickets and tee shirt.

Ladies Night Out
Last Friday, 3/4, forty moms and teachers enjoyed a Ladies Night Out in the PAC. Each lady made a succulent plant arrangement to take home with them while having great conversations with friends. Raffle baskets and 50/50 chances were available for purchase. Special thanks to Nicolette Kelly, Courtney Miron, Lara Ciesinski, and Beth Dixon for planning the evening. A fun night was had by all!

Our team is starting to gather auction items for our beer garden event. These items will be available through a silent and live auction that evening. Do you possibly have an item to donate? Some items we are looking for are: any gift cards (restaurants, stores, etc), Phillies or Eagles tickets, rounds of golf at any local clubs, electronics, any weekend trips to a vacation home or hotel, or unopened beer or liquor. We will also have sponsorships available for teacher tickets, bar items, and SNS beer steins! Please email laraciesinski@gmail.com if you have any items for us. We also have an Amazon wish list if you would prefer to purchase something from there to donate for an auction item.

Archdiocesan High School Visitation Day - 7th Graders
Thursday, 3/24 - 8:30am-2:15pm
The Universal Visitation Day for the Archdiocesan High Schools for the 7th graders is set for March 24th from8:30 to 2:15. This is a day that the students can visit any archdiocesan highs schools. Most of our students visit either Archbishop Carroll or Bishop Shanahan. That being said, they can also visit any of the other 15 high schools in the dicoeses. This is not a day to visit private high schoosl; nor is it a day off from school.

At this time, Archbishop Carroll has contacted us about visitation. If your 7th grader plans to attend Visitation Day at Carroll this year, you need to sign up on the below link:

7th Grade Practice Test Opportunity - Villa Maria
Saturday, 4/2 9am-12:30pm
On April 2, 7th grade students are invited to experience the type of entrance exam Villa Maria uses for admission—the High School Placement Test (HSPT)—to see how they may perform on the test in the fall. In taking the practice exam, students will have the opportunity to become familiar with the testing process as well as learn about their individual strengths and opportunities for growth. There will also be a Parent Q&A session at 9:00am Save your spot by registering now at vmahs.org.
7th Grade Practice Test Opportunity - Devon Prep
Saturday, 4/2 9am-12:00pm
Is your son currently in 7th grade? Are you starting to consider options for him for his High School years? Devon Prep will be hosting a PRACTICE HSPT exam on Saturday, April 2nd, 9am - Noon. Click here to sign up. $50 testing fee payable on the day.

7th Grade Practice Test Opportunity - Sacred Heart Academy
Saturday, 4/30 - 8:45am
The Pre-HSPT is offered in order to give all 7th-grade students an opportunity to participate in a practice scholarship test prior to taking the HSPT (High School Placement Test) in the fall of 8th-grade. In order to help students achieve the most valid results, Sacred Heart Academy administers this test in the late spring when students have had the benefit of completing the vast majority of their 7th-grade curriculum. The Foundation for Catholic Education is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their 1st Annual Golf Outing which will support the OCE (Office of Catholic Education) Endowment Fund for Elementary Education. This Golf Outing will be an extraordinary event held at Union League Liberty Hill Golf Course, in Lafayette Hill on May 17, 2022. With the help of their donors, this past year they were able to bring in over $8 Million in assistance to thousands of families across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The Foundation has been an important part of the grade schools for the past 12 years and they are looking forward to setting up an endowment fund to continue to carry on our mission!

Set amidst the turmoil of the Russian revolution, Anya–an amnesiac orphan stranded in what was once the Russian capital, St. Petersburg–is on a quest to rediscover her past which she believes lies in Paris. Anastasia explores one determined girl’s journey to find home, love, and family, as she discovers who she was and embraces who she is meant to be.

Brothers of Borromeo Vocation Camp (B.B.V.C.)
Young men in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th are invited to join the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood and the Philadelphia Seminarians for B.B.V.C. on Saturday, April 9th. With the theme, To the Heights, this one-day camp provides young men a chance for great talks, activities, fellowship, games, and powerful prayer centered around the life and teachings of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. The registration fee of $25 includes a t-shirt and lunch/snacks. Register by March 25th at HeedTheCall.org/BBVC or click here for flyer/registration form.
