SUNDAYS
SUN, MAR 20, 2022 | 9:30 & 11 AM

Guest Speaker: Keith Bower
Sermon Series: Courageous Faith
Sermon Title: Faithfulness Remembered
Passage: Esther 9-10

Series Overview:
The reason the story of Esther is so wonderfully helpful is that the ways of God in her times were so much like the ways of God in our own. As you read the story of Esther, you will notice something
remarkable: the name of God is never mentioned, not even once. There are no overt miracles. No divine appearances or manifestations. If God is acting, and it is unmistakable that He is, He is acting very much behind the scenes. He plays a major role, to be sure, but He is staying “off stage.”

Over the next several weeks, we will learn how to trust God boldly. We will learn to trust a God we cannot see, to “lean on the everlasting arms,” as the old hymn puts it, even when those arms are invisible. And the story of Esther will show us how. Through her example, you and I will learn how to live with courageous faith.

As the war in the Ukraine unfolds, so does the need for humanitarian support for innocent Ukrainian people. We will be collecting Medical Supplies for the Ukrainian people for the next several weeks.

You can find the list of needed supplies below. Please purchase and bring medical supplies you obtain to the church and place those supplies in the designated boxes found at the main church entrances.

If you would like to financially donate, you may consider Christian humanitarian organizations like Samaritan's Purse and Barnabas Aid.
