Pastor Stanley Newton is a 1996 graduate of Dallas Seminary holding a ThM degree in Old Testament. With over 25 years of pastoral experience he offers a unique ministry perspective as DTS Houston’s Director of Community Relations and Formation Ministries. Before moving to pastor in Houston, TX, he labored in small town churches in Washington state and North Carolina. His varied ministry experience includes chaplaincy work amongst first responders, leading a church planting network, mentoring elementary children, and multiple mission trips overseas. Pastor Newton’s ministry focus is to mentor, disciple, and train future leaders for service at home and abroad for the glory and honor of Christ.

This spring several of our Elders to come tell their faith story and what the Lord has been teaching them. Dave Gordon will be our next speaker. David is the Founder and Visionary of Aspire Fine Homes. Aspire has earned many awards, including “Custom Builder of the Year 2012,” the “Best of Houzz 2014-2019,” several Texas and Greater Houston Association of Builders awards and more. Their work has been featured in publications, including the Home Builders Digest, Houston House and Home and The Metropolitan Builder. Not surprisingly, 15+ years in the custom home space has provided many inspiring moments and key life-lessons. Dave is married to Tamara Gordon, who is BridgePoint's Women's Ministry Director, and they have three children.

As the war in the Ukraine unfolds, so does the need for humanitarian support for innocent Ukrainian people. We will be collecting Medical Supplies for the Ukrainian people for the next several weeks.

You can find the list of needed supplies below. Please purchase and bring medical supplies you obtain to the church and place those supplies in the designated boxes found at the main church entrances.
