- The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters Telecommunications Education and Management Foundation (NABOB) and Personal Selling Principles (PSP) are pleased to announce NABOB's fourth MSI at the AUC, this June. NABOB and PSP 1, LLC have made a commitment for the 2019 MSI program and beyond. The Media Sales Institute (MSI) is an intense ten-day program designed to prepare career changers, college graduates and military personnel (Post 9/11) for a career in media sales. Personal Selling Principles (PSP) is the developer of the MSI program and serves as the facilitator at the AUC.
Since the AUC institute launch in 2016, 94% of the graduates have received at least one offer (and as many as six) to start their media sales careers. The 2018 class of candidates hailed from 10 colleges, universities, and alumni associations; with twenty-two sales recruiters (from ten media companies) participating in two days of recruitment and making offers to the candidates to “formally” interview with their companies.
Dr. Cassandra Wells, Marketing and Sales Program Coordinator at Morehouse College (which host the MSI) stated, "We are proud to be a sponsor of the MSI program at Morehouse College. The commitment of the presenters, combined with Personal Selling Principles' efforts has prepared these candidates for successful careers in media sales. She also credited Jeffrey and Dana Myers from Personal Selling Principles (the facilitators) with "the Institute's success."
For the past three years, recruiters have enthusiastically commented about the AUC program and its candidates; and credits NABOB and PSP for a service to both candidates and the industry.

was first launched at Howard University in 2000; and the first expansion partner was Florida A&M University where the program was housed from 2006-2014.
About the AUC and Its Partners
The Atlanta University Center (AUC) is the world’s oldest and largest association of historically Black colleges and universities.
