Scholar-in-Residence Rabbanit Chamutal Shoval is a graduate of Midreshet Lindenbaum’s Women’s Institute of Halakhic Leadership. She was the first woman to publish a Halachic article in the venerable Tchumin journal. She and her family are spending the year in the United States where she is currently the Ohr Torah Stone scholar in North America and is teaching Talmud at Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, NJ. Rabbanit Shoval also holds an M.A. in Media Communications from the Hebrew University, and spent two years working as a reporter and editor for the Israel Broadcasting Authority as a reporter. She is the proud mother of five daughters.

Tot Shabbat

Come join BDJ families with children under 5. Tot Shabbat will start with a sing-along Kabbalat Shabbat (5 pm) and then a kid-friendly, early Shabbat dinner (6 pm). Meet new people, make new friends, and get to know other young families from shul all while eating delicious food.
