Our Savior will be taking up a voluntary Emergency 2nd collection for flood relief for Eastern KY/WV.

2nd Annual Multicultural Festival

 

Our Savior will be hosting the 2nd Annual Multicultural Festival, on October 22nd after the 5 o’clock Mass.

We would like to celebrate the richness of all the different cultures and traditions right here at Our Savior.

We are looking for parishioners who are interested in having a table to share their heritage and traditions.

So far, we have Poland, USA, Ireland, Nicaragua, Italy, Germany, Philippines, Vietnam and waiting for confirmation on Argentina, Mexico,.

If you would like to help with one of these booths or set up one yourself, please be in contact either with Deacon Francis or Tina Lyons.

If you’re interested in participating, please join us at our next planning meeting on Thursday, September 8th at 6:30 in Joseph Hall.

FIAT is a great hangout place for parents with children in religious education classes!

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)

We are excited to announce the RCIA Process will have its first gathering on Tuesday, September 13, at 6:30pm in Joseph Hall. RCIA is primarily for unbaptized iindividuals seeking baptism into the Catholic faith, but also for those individuals baptized in another faith who are seeking full communion as Catholics. In addition, we welcome adult Catholics who have not been confirmed, as well as Catholics who want to learn more about our Catholic Faith. Youth group is open to all youth in the 2nd through 5th grade and their families along with Middle School Youth 6th-8th grade & High School Youth 9th-12th grade.

SVDP

Food pantry is in need of canned meats (chicken, tuna), peanut butter. and ramen noodles. Donations can be placed in the back of the church.

We are available after the Masses and Ms. Tina has some in the office. If you all want to buy another three or four tickets each, we won’t mind!

As always, we have our drawings on the 1st Thursday of the month.

The Men of St. Joseph is an association of Christian Men united under the Catholic Church who meet weekly to pray together and encourage each other to be the spiritual leader of their families. A weekly one hour meeting is held at 6 p.m. every Tuesday in Joseph Hall.

If you enter through the ER and are admitted into the hospital please inform them of your church affiliation.
