Local content this week on STR
Strong Tower Radio (STR) Today
What do the Salvation Army red kettle and the Historic Adventist Village Christmas Stroll have in common? They are both featured on Strong Tower Radio Today this week and Pastor Tim Rumsey discusses his Strong Tower Radio Ministry News lead article regarding the hope in Jesus' first and second coming and the reveal of the Strong Tower Radio Christmas programming, all this Sunday at 5 p.m., Monday at 10 a.m., and Wednesday at midnight on STR.
Strong Tower Radio (STR) Feature
Would you like to know the tangible result of Strong Tower Radio on listeners? Hear the debut of a new feature called, "Changing Lives." We will record the listeners' stories and air them when they are appropriate to reveal. This periodic program will debut this Sunday at 3:30 a.m., Monday at 4 p.m., Wednesday at 9 p.m., and Thursday at 1 p.m. only on STR.
Strong Tower Radio (STR) Variety Hour
This Friday (11/29) at 1 p.m. and Saturday (11/30) at 5 p.m., we discussed in the program whether they have found the final resting place of Noah's ark. There are three very likely contenders. Research is continuing and Andrews University Siegfried Horn Archeology Institute and Museum director Dr. Randy Younkers is part of a team of scholars that are looking at the various reported sites. We interviewed Dr. Randy days after his last site visit and his lecture on current knowledge. Join us for this real-time adventure.
December Fridays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 5 p.m. Strong Tower Radio will air our favorite classic Christmas Variety Hour programs recorded on location throughout our listening area. Enjoy the perfect blend of children, unique local talent, and regional professional musicians through the years.
