Paris in Tears!
The Directors of the Alliance Francaise de Fresno would like to thank Alliance members and the community for their participation and support in two events in response to last month's terrorist attacks in Paris. One minute of silence was observed in remembrance of those who senselessly lost their lives. In addition, an evening gathering was organized to review recent world events involving terrorism. Both events were well-attended and resulted in a high level of discussion. Fresno Alliance members have been sought out by local TV, radio, and print media for information and personal connections to recent tragic events.

AFF Movie Night - La Môme Turns 100!

Saturday December 19 at 5:30PM
Movie and potluck at the AFF

December 19th is the 100th anniversary of the birth of the incomparable "Little Sparrow," Edith Piaf. We will honor her legacy by showing "La Vie en Rose" for our movie of the month.  It will be shown on December 19th at 7:00. Come see the film that earned Marion Cotillard an Oscar for her performance as the legendary chanteuse. Pre and post discussion will be led by Alliance director Denise Ulrich. All ladies are asked to wear black attire and wear red lipstick in honor of La Môme's signature style. Come at 5:30 to enjoy elegant light potluck appetizers and wine; donations are encouraged and appreciated.
