They wrested power from the Executive Committee, the Party Chairman and the Parliamentarian, secretly writing a new Plan of Organization voted on April 22
nd
- only by these officers - and unveiled it for the first time on the BCGOP website the next morning.

Folks, 2020 is coming!
With 2020 looming, we need each county GOP organization, as well as our grassroots sister organizations, to be rowing in the same direction.
In 2018, we lost all of our judicial races, our super majority in the NC legislature, and with the departure of Chief Justice Martin, we now have a 6-1 liberal leaning Supreme Court. This is in addition to the NCGOP Chair indictment for bribing a public official and lieing to the FBI. Some news sites even have NC as 'blue.'
We need to deliver NC to our #MAGA President. We need to restore the Governorship to Republican hands.
If we are to succeed, you need to get involved locally and this is it!
We need to get this ship back on track. The last thing we need is for a vital county like Buncombe to lose its volunteer base because folks are disenfranchised and disgusted with the leadership and walk away.
The majority of ATP's 1400 newsletter subscribers are Buncombe County residents who are deeply concerned about this matter as are our ATP Board members.
We are asking you to attend a meeting - Monday, May 20th at 6:30PM -
even if it is one more time -
to give voice and support to restore legitimacy to the BCGOP.
