President’s Message January…. Such a difficult month if you’re a golfer in NJ. We are in the depths of winter for sure.  I’m hoping you all are staying in touch with your golf buddies, keeping busy, and wishing for a quick end to this winter.  January also is the start of a new year - specifically for renewing your LPGA memberships! Remember, everyone’s LPGA membership expires 12/31 each year. Please remember to renew so not to miss out on our events!  The Board has been busy working on our schedule of events for 2022. Exciting things are on the way. Keep checking the website for updates.  Our first event of 2022 is TopGolf in Edison on 2/20. We have just a few more spots left.  Looking forward to seeing everyone at our annual Tee Off brunch on March 27th. This year we’re trying something a bit different- it is sure to please! Keep watching the website and your emails for more details.  And remember, our existing members are our greatest ambassadors of the Chapter. Let’s keep growing!! Stay warm and safe. All the best…. Renew Your LPGA Amateurs & Northern New Jersey Chapter Membership now! 2022 Member Renewals All 2021 memberships expired on 12/31/21 and members have until 3/15/22 to renew at the regular rate before being charged the higher rejoin rate. Those who haven't renewed their membership are considered no longer current. Members need to be current in their dues in order to register and participate in Association-wide and Chapter events. March 15: Last day to renew before higher rejoin rate implemented. Membership ID Cards: There are two options that members can choose from to display their LPGA Amateurs membership:  Digital ID Card: Available through the ID123 app, the digital membership card features the member's picture and membership status. It automatically updates when members renew their membership! Instructions can be found at this link. Printed ID Card: Members can also print a copy of their ID Card. Instructions can be found at this link.

2022 LPGA Amateurs National Events Scramble Tournaments (4 person teams)- open to all handicaps. CUP Qualifiers (8 person teams)- Match play format open to all handicaps. Championship Tournament- (1 person team)- stroke play tournament with gross and net winners (flighted by handicap).  Check out the schedule and location details here. Get your teams together.

Announcing the 2021 Biggest Loser Challenge Winners! Krystal Whaley from the Greater Knoxville, TN Chapter has emerged as the Biggest Loser! Krystal reduced her Handicap Index from 36.2 to 21.7, an Improvement Factor of 1.430, and earned a custom-fitted set of irons! And congratulations to the winners of each flight who will receive a driver and fitting from Club Champion.

Of the field of 218 competitors, 67% lowered their Handicap during the Challenge. Hats off to all of you for your success! To view the complete standings, CLICK ON THIS LINK.
