WCDPL cardholders can now access a wide selection of popular eBooks and audiobooks free from the new WCDPL OverDrive Collection.

  • Get started borrowing eBooks right away through the WCDPL OverDrive Collection by visiting wcdpl.overdrive.com or by downloading the Libby app.
  • Do you already have holds in the Ohio Digital Library for books also in the WCDPL OverDrive Collection? Simply, place new holds on thetitles in the WCDPL OverDrive Collection.
  • Time spent waiting for holds in the WCDPL OverDrive should be shorter than that experienced with the Ohio Digital Library.

  • Tap on "Library," then on Libby’s face in the resulting pop-up window.

September is Library Card SIgn-up Month

If you're reading this, chances are pretty good you already have a library card. Chances are you may also know someone--family member or relative, friend or neighbor--who doesn't have a library card. Why not take a moment to share with those folks the awesome benefits that comes from having a library card?

For instance, you don’t need to pay monthly subscription fees when you have a library card. A library card gives you access to thousands and thousands of audiobooks, digital books, movies, music, picture books, and bestselling novels. What’s more awesome than FREE movies, books, audiobooks, magazines, and much more?

Each person who signs up for a library card this September:
  • receives a small welcome gift,
  • can also enter the drawing for a Friends of the Library book bag or a big bunny toy. (Sorry big people, the big bunny drawing is for kids only.)

Already have a library card? Show your library card and receive an “I Love My Library” cling for your car (while supplies last).

Want a card right now? Apply online for a temporary card. Then on your next visit to the library, come inside and update your temporary card and enter the drawings.

For more details on how your library card works, visit our webpage, Get a Library Card.

  • When you are able, we hope we to see you in the library during our Express Service hours, where you can register for your permanent library card.
