During the Burger Boat Company Holiday Party, Dave Burton was presented the 2022 Associate of the Year award. Dave has been a standout member of the metals department. He is an excellent mentor, self-starter, and comes to work every day with a positive attitude.

Burger Holds Open House and Christening Ceremony for NEEBISH ISLANDER III

On August 13th, 2022, Burger Boat Company opened the gates to allow the community the opportunity to tour the shipyard and witness the christening ceremony of NEEBISH ISLANDER III, the newest addition to Burger's commercial fleet.

“It’s been an honor to build this vessel. It keeps our team busy building the high-quality boats that Burger has been doing since 1863,” shared Burger Boat Company Sales Marketing Vice President, Ron Cleveringa. “The teams love bringing their friends and family to the shipyard to see what they have done.”

The ceremony included a powerful speech from the Eastern Upper Peninsula Transit Authority (EUPTA) president, Pete Paramski, with their Finance Director, Akemi Gordon, christening the NEEBISH ISLANDER III.

NEEBISH ISLANDER III was delivered to Barbeau, Michigan in October.
