Aye Caramba…What A Month!

AAAARRRGGGHHHH Matey’s…It’s time to celebrate with a shot of Mamajuana “ or 10! “. We were just shy of our all-time monthly occupancy record by just 9 room nights!! “. What a way to start a New Year… not to mention a new decade, just like a good wine we try to get better every year!!
Speaking of getting better, I must apologize to those Pirates that were here a couple of days before Superbowl while we were refurbishing our main bar. It is 95% complete, and I avoided having to walk the plank. Looks Great!!

To those who were here during this period thank you for your patience and understanding.

As a new year and decade begins, all of us at Blackbeards look forward to continuing to provide you with excellent service and a home away from home, so that you can party like a true pirate.

Superbowl BASH…One Hell of a Pirate Party!!
We will put an entire Superbowl Bash Spread in our next newsletter – but we wanted to share the Pre-Game prep we go through to make sure our Pirates have an AAARRRGGGHHHH Superbowl Bash!!!  
  • Weekend Festivities – we always start this special weekend with special happenings that start on Thursday Night and roll right through Sunday. 
  • Tailgate BBQ - El’ Capitan shares his secret BBQ Sauce recipe with our chefs to slather all over our great BBQ Ribs and Chicken…served with all the Tailgate extras!
  • Decorations and Cheerleaders – The Mamasans and the Shipmates decorate the Crow’s Nest Bar and Cheerleaders are selected for the game.
  • Football Pool – We always put together football pools that reward Pirates every quarter!
  • Popcorn – We have loaded up on Free Popcorn and perhaps other surprise snacks for the Game.
  • Special Cocktail discounts.
  • Our own version of a Halftime Show Chica Style….to bad you could not make it, we will try to build more rooms for next year.
Bikini Contest…#379, January 18th….
Three Newbie Pirates who had been on extended shore leave back home begged to be our 379th Bikini Contest judges… so, after making them grovel and say AAARRRGGGGHHHHHH!! Backwards (Which by the way ain't easy to do) we decided to sign them up. This Bikini Contest needed to be held inside the Restaurant area of our Drunken’ Parrots Bar and Restaurant due to on and off rain throughout the day but it didn’t dampen the crowd’s enthusiasm or the turnout.
The local Expat Buccaneers attended in full force and we love it when they bring their wives . . . maybe their trying to get their wives’ cranks turning . . . We never know who is going to show up for our Bikini Festival with SIXTEEN - Beautiful Shipmates doing their best to win the contest . . .

It was a fierce competition requiring the judges to deliberate for at least 5 whole minutes…Phew….and finally a winner was declared. Congratulations to Violeta claiming her first Bikini Contest win with Celeste in Second and Natalie in Third….Good Job Girls!!!

Show Us Your Colors Night!!.... 
If you don't know what we do on Thursday nights . . . You Should!! All the Shipmates wear the same color and put on a special dance show in the Crow’s Nest Bar!! If you don't know what the Crow’s Nest Bar is . . . You Should!!
This is our Pirate hideout that is only open on Thu-Fri-Sat nights for many of or great events . . . Picture multi-colored wall and ceiling paint, mirrored walls, disco globe and lights and a dance pole that reaches the ceiling!! Now you got the idea . . .

Babydoll/Raffle Night….
Pirates buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a HOT lap dance and some lingerie from a scantily clad SEXY Shipmate (Sorry Shipmate not included) Yes, for only $1 you have a chance to create a memory that you can rile your friends with for months to come and fondly remember every time your significant other bitches at you!!
The entire night consists of Shipmates dancing in lingerie to sizzling Latin tunes . . . and all you have to do . . . is sit there with a silly grin on your face and forget about what day you have to return to the real world . . . 
Ms. Universe #286 - January 25th...
Our Night Manager, Nico, is our emcee for our nightly events and everybody seems to think he has a great mic skills as our Pirates and Crew always wait to hear him say, "And from Santiago…22 years old…“. He’s like Clockwork always prepared …
Our SIX contestants pretty much got their socks blown off by Veteran Shipmate, Ana!! She dazzled the crowd with her horizontal floor salsa dancing and if you don't know what that is . . . you should. The night's festivities were far from over after the contest!!
Our Pirates decided to have their own dance contest and needless to say . . . there were no winners!! Sorry, Pirates just can't dance!!!
Mardi Gras Night…
20+ Shipmates in every conceivable sexy costume . . . Now that we have your attention, welcome to Mardi Gras Blackbeard Style!! Next time you are on board, bring down a bunch of Carnival beads and trinkets and share them with all the girls!!
Practice saying AAARRRGGGHHHHH and try your luck at dancing Dominican Style!! This night ALWAYS ends with a bang . . . one way or another!!
And, if you really want to get into the act . . . Then - get into the act!! Bring something stupid to wear and become one of the Crew!!

Thanks for the follow-up, it is a pleasure hearing for you. I really enjoy my stay at Blackbeards in Puerto Plata, I was in the US Navy for 21 years and I have traveled to many Islands and around the world, I have many fond memories of many people and places, But I return to Blackbeards.  

Reading through the Newsletters I see you are keeping a sharp mind in updating and maintaining the truly important things.

The Newsletters are also full of treasured memories and new information that is of great value, I look forward to seeing more to follow. Today many people are using other messaging forms to advertise. But I find this email newsletter to be able to give more than a quick message or video.  

I am looking forward to my next stay with you.

Chica of the Month
Our First Chica of the Month for this Decade was an easy decision as this Shipmate had excellent comments from our Pirates who had a chance to spend time with her. Our Mamasans Krystal and Hilda also were in agreement….Therefore we want to Congratulate Katy as this Decades first Chica of the Month…Good Job Katy!!!!
