Benefiting: Crawford Elementary School

We will be providing individually wrapped snack items to students at Crawford Elementary School, a Title 1 school in Aurora, CO. The majority of students at Crawford Elementary are below the poverty line and 38% of the student population are refugee. Most kids go to after school programs, unfortunately these children cannot afford to bring their own snacks. As we know, kids are super hungry after school! SME will help provide healthy snacks so these children can be their best.

We are asking SME Students bring in individually wrapped snacks to donate on Oct. 31. Classes will "reverse trick or treat" bringing their donations into the cafeteria to be taken to Crawford Elementary School. 

Items We are Collecting:
Individually Wrapped Healthy Snack Items that are Shelf Stable such as...
Granola Bars, Cheese/peanut butter and crackers, fruit bars/healthy fruit snacks, squeeze apple sauce, crackers, popcorn, Handi-snacks, goldfish, chips, trail mix, cliff bars, etc.
***All snacks need to be individually packaged.

Halloween Schedule :
Parties- 1:45-2:45
Parade- 2:45-3:15

Classroom ‘reverse trick or treat' schedule in the cafeteria:
1:55-2:05 K/1st grade
2:05-2:15 2nd/3rd grade
2:15-2:25 4th grade
2:25-2:35 5th grade
2:35-2:45 6th grade

Specials schedule for THIS DAY ONLY.
8:50 to 9:30 - 5th Grade
9:30 to 10:10- 2nd Grade
10:10 to 10:50 - 4th Grade
10:50 to 11:30- 3rd Grade
11:30 to 12:10 - Kindergarten
12:15 to 12:55 - 1st Grade
12:55 to 1:30 - 6th Grade Obstacle Course - Gym

Students will wear regular clothes to school on the 31st. Students may bring a bag with their costume and students will be given time to put their costumes on right before the party/parade.

  • MAKE-UP will not be allowed.
  • Swords/weapons will not be allowed.
  • Scary costumes will not be allowed.
  • No full face masks, please.

Class Baskets are Here!
Class baskets are always so fun for our kids! Any pre purchased tickets for class baskets will be available at the marked table for basket sales beginning October 24. You can also buy more tickets. Tickets are $5 for one or $20 for 10 tickets. We accept cash, checks and NEW this year  credit cards . We will be open before and after school each day October 24-November 1. The winners will be announced during the all school assembly on November 2. Parents will be notified via email if their child wins.

Buy your tickets for the golf cart online or during class basket sale windows. Tickets are $50 for one or $100 for 3 tickets. You will not get a physical ticket but are automatically entered in the drawing for the golf cart. The winner will be announced at The Main Event. You do not need to be present to win.

Don’t forget to get tickets for our Adult/Family Baskets. Baskets will be on display at The Main Event. Baskets will contain fabulous prizes valued at $250-$1000! Ticket prices are $10 for one, $50 for 6 or $100 for 15 tickets. You can buy tickets online, during class basket sales or the night of the event. Pre-purchased tickets will be available with your check-in packet the night of the event. Winners will be announced at The Main Event. You must be present to win.
