| New State Farm office opens in Northwoods | Brady Anderson Bennett recently opened a State Farm office at 3000 Northwoods Parkway. The 27-year-old has been working with State Farm since he was 18 years old. Planet Fitness opening on Jimmy Carter Blvd.
Renovation is underway at 7050 Jimmy Carter Blvd. for the creation of a Planet Fitness. The gym is under development by Alder Partners/the Flynn Group. The Flynn Group operates 2,600 Applebee’s, Taco Bell, Panera Bread, Arby's, Pizza Hut, Wendy's and Planet Fitness franchise locations. This location marks the 32nd location in metro Atlanta. It is expected to open in January.

Newly renovated dining space at Dahlia's embraces Southern fare
Dahlia’s Restaurant & Porch, a Southern-inspired eatery located inside the Hilton Atlanta Northeast hotel, opened in May of this year. Dahlia’s offers Southern-style plates that leverage regionally sourced, farm-fresh ingredients. Werfen/PTC engage in 5K in Technology Park
Werfen, a global diagnostics company founded in 1966 in Spain, and the City of Peachtree Corners, partnered on a 5K Walk/Run in Technology Park on Saturday, Nov. 9. The event benefitted the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Werfen is a worldwide leader in specialized diagnostics in the areas of hemostasis, acute care diagnostics, transfusion, autoimmunity and transplant. Through the company's OEM business line, it researches, develops and manufacturers assays and biomaterials.

Redevelopment Summit highlights metro projects
The Metro Atlanta Redevelopment Summit (MARS), presented by Gwinnett’s Community Improvement Districts and co-hosted by Partnership Gwinnett and the Council for Quality Growth, offered an exclusive look at major redevelopment projects shaping the future of the region.
The summit’s marquee moment was the presentation of the annual MARS Awards, recognizing remarkable achievements in redevelopment that are transforming the metro Atlanta landscape.

Peachtree Corners a launching pad for new technologies
City leaders attended the Smart City World Congress with Opsys, a provider of Lidar scanners used in automotive and industrial applications based in Holon, Israel. Working together, they are showcasing how Opsys tracking technology is used at the intersection of SR 141 and Town Center Blvd.
The ALTOS Gen 2 is affixed to a utility pole at the entrance to Curiosity Lab, the testing ground for smart and autonomous mobility that has attracted recognition all over the world. It marks the first real-world deployment in the United States for the company.
