Congratulations to Junior Human Resources Business Partner Heather Stinnett on receiving the November administrative faculty of the month award


The Administrative Faculty Committee recognizes outstanding administrative faculty who go above and beyond in their duties and are acknowledged by their respective colleagues to advance the university's mission and goals.

RMS Safety Award Recipient

Congratulations to HVACR Specialist 3 Jeremy Bart-Plange who received the RMS Safety Award in recognition of his outstanding dedication to fostering a safe working environment and significantly enhancing the overall safety culture within our organization. Key Achievements:

  1. Proactive Safety Initiatives: Jeremy has identified potential high noise hazards in campus chiller workspaces and took immediate action. His initiative led to implementing noise dosimeter monitoring across all chiller work areas, addressing the risk and safeguarding team members.
  2. Collaboration with RMS: Jeremy has been an invaluable partner in identifying potential hazards and collaborating closely with RMS to effectively control and mitigate those risks. He consistently works in a positive and cooperative manner, contributing significantly to the review of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and the completion of roofing assessments. His partnership with the RMS team ensures that comprehensive safety practices are consistently followed.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Jeremy has been a strong advocate for ladder safety improvements at CDC buildings, actively raising awareness and contributing to refining UNLV’s JHA processes and fall protection measures.

Jeremy consistently demonstrates the traits of a true safety advocate. His unwavering commitment to protecting his colleagues and improving safety practices makes him highly deserving of this recognition. His contributions have made a lasting impact on the safety culture within our organization.
