In October 2025, we distributed our annual Business Affairs customer service survey. Many of our campus colleagues replied to the survey with notes of praise for our hard-working teams. See below for some highlights for Real Estate.
"It is always a pleasure working with the Real Estate staff. They are timely, helpful and responsive."
"The Real Estate Team is very helpful and efficient, providing recorded information about UNLV properties. The team is a great resource securing and monitoring our outside leases. They work hard on our varied land sales and purchases. They are an amazing team with a broad range of responsibilities."
"Great Business Affairs partners! Facilities Management salutes you! Shout out to Brian, Gina, Bridget, Connie, and Cherie!"
"They have some great people in the office and remote that are responsive and very helpful in all things Board related."

July is Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC) Mental Health Awareness Month. This monthly observance aims to address disparities in mental health care access and outcomes. It draws attention to the specific challenges BIPOC communities experience and emphasizes the need for intentional action and support.
Mental health is shaped by culture, community, identity, workplace experiences, access to care, and more. For Business Affairs, this is a reminder that how we work with one another is also part of employee well-being. A respectful workplace, clear communication, and access to appropriate support all help create a campus environment where employees can do their best work.
This month is also an opportunity to pay closer attention to how support shows up in everyday workplace interactions. Listening carefully, respecting different experiences, and actively looking for ways to connect are practical ways to strengthen the culture we share across Business Affairs and UNLV.
All UNLV employees can access mental health resources through ComPsych. To do this, make a ComPsych account. Visit the ComPsych website, click register, and enter organization web ID UNLVEAP.

Disability Pride Month recognizes the history, contributions, and rights of people with disabilities, while also calling attention to the barriers that still affect daily life.
Disability is part of every workplace, including ours—even when it isn’t obvious. A disability may be visible or invisible, temporary or lifelong, physical, mental, cognitive, or sensory. The best way to improve accessibility for all is to consider it from the outset of any project, regardless of whether someone with a visible disability is present. In this way, we improve the quality of our work by making sure everyone’s contributions are included.
In your day-to-day work, you can improve accessibility through thoughtful planning, responsiveness, and a willingness to remove barriers. To educate yourself further about improving digital accessibility, visit the Office of Accessibility Resources’ Training & Workshops page.
If you are disabled and would like to request a workplace accommodation, see the Workplace Accommodations Request page.
