32nd Annual Rockport Community Easter Egg Hunt

Bring the kids to Millbrook Meadows for the annual Rockport Community Easter Egg Hunt and photo opp with the Eater Bunny. Volunteers and donations are always greatly appreciated. Small prizes may be dropped off at the Rockport branch of the Institution for Savings or at the Chamber office. The Power of Play

A day of hands-on, low-tech play for all ages, hosted by Gloucester Education Foundation and run by a powerhouse team of community and student volunteers! Power of Play centers around fun family activities, and is designed to be welcoming to a broad spectrum of ages, ability levels, and learning styles. It would take us all day to name all of the awesome activities at Power of Play, but here are a few: collaborative art projects, life-sized Candy Land, fort-building, live music musical chairs, a mollusk tank, arctic exploration, capoeira, an invisible ink scavenger hunt, an infant/toddler wiggle zone, and LOTS more. Cape Ann ARTWaves to Present: Why I Create

From 2020 through 2022, co-producers Jacqueline Ganim DeFalco and Kristine Fisher conducted interviews with local artists in a series called Cape Ann ARTWaves. The interviews, kickstarted as a way to keep in touch during the COVID-19 Pandemic, have become a tool to promote the cultural economy and to provide an important historic perspective on the creativity that emerged during the pandemic.
