Local Businesses Recognized Statewide!

Two Will County businesses were recently recognized at the State level by the Illinois Workforce Partnership (IWP). Borowski Race Engines, Inc. of Rockdale, IL was recognized as Business Leader of the Year and National Tube Supply, University Park, IL received the Innovative Solutions recognition.

In addition, Borowski Race Engines, Inc. was a part of the Illinois Workforce Partnership (IWP) compilation video that was sent to the Illinois Workforce Board.

Drive-Thru Job Fairs

This fall the Workforce Center of Will County took the hiring show on the road by participating in several Drive-Thru Job Fairs throughout Will County. Many businesses participated with the hopes of finding potential candidates through this safe, outdoor approach. Everyone that participated felt it was a very worthwhile endeavor. During these challenging times, we strive to find innovative ways to assist in your search for potential candidates.

The Workforce Center of Will County's Business Services Team (BST) meets bi-monthly to discuss, plan, and implement strategies to assist businesses across the County. The team also attends bi-monthly Regional Business Services meetings to brainstorm and discuss with BSTs in other counties throughout Illinois.

The active discussion enables Will County BST to best serve businesses and apply value. The team hosts webinars on its services and is updating its website to provide solutions across a wide range of industries in their recruitment, retention, and training needs. Learn more at
