Stage 4 Water Restrictions: Business Engagement Survey

Have your say.  The Downtown Courtenay BIA is working with the Comox Valley Regional District to administer a short survey to clarify commercial water use practices in an effort to inform updates to the Stage 4 Water Restriction Bylaw. The results of this survey will be presented to the Water Committee.

There will also be two round-table working groups where local business representatives can provide input to the CVRD to assist in developing guidelines for business water use practices.
Financing for Young Entrepreneurs

Futurpreneur Canada, i n partnership with the Business Development Bank of Canada, is excited to be increasing its loan offering from a maximum of $45,000 to a maximum of $60,000, starting on June 18, 2019 . This increase means young entrepreneurs (up to age 39) will have even more financial support to launch their business, alongside the mentorship and resources Futurpreneur continues to provide. 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber couldn’t be more proud to celebrate the centennial with the community they’ve championed since 1919.
 
Because turning 100 only happens once, the Chamber plans to celebrate this milestone all year-long, culminating in September with one of the biggest parties they’ve ever thrown!
