I hope the first quarter of this school year has been treating you kindly and you’re finding a nice rhythm to your daily routine. As stated by James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, “Habits do not restrict freedom. They create it.” And I hope that the habits of this year’s routine are creating great freedom for you, full of awesome moments and joy. Education brings so many moments with potential for great joy but can also create really tough times. Remember that ACTE and our Business Ed Division is here with so many resources to serve you in both joy and struggle.
On the topic of serving, my service role with ACTE began many years ago when I threw my name in the hat to represent our division on the by-laws committee. Little did I realize that once I began giving back to ACTE, it started giving me so much more. Our Business Division has several roles that have opened up and are perfect for anyone in the division to jump into and begin learning more while giving more to business education. So, I challenge you to consider reaching out to me directly to find out more about how you can join our division team and multiply what you are already getting out of your ACTE membership.
