Quarterly News

Update

Greetings Business Education Members,

Spring is awesome; it’s a sign for so many fresh, warm, lively things to come. For educators, it brings a big mix of feels as the weather and life around us bounces back from winter but the grind of the school year continues to challenge us in new ways. Whether it’s our first school year of the “final stretch” season or 30th, there is renewed energy all around us with spring that I challenge you to recognize and absorb for yourself and the students you serve.

In the spring spirit of new-ness, there’s a lot of new things happening. Please check out the info below and get yourself registered for VISION 2023 in “super early bird” style before those prices go up.

New Action Brief for Your Classroom: Influencer Marketing

Translating business trends for the classroom:  As we learn from the business community, we want to share that information with our community of educators and business professionals. One trend our recent business focus panels highlighted is the rising importance of influencer marketing. Our newest Action Brief, The Power & Impact of Influencer Marketing, is now available!

This Action Brief is a perfect complement to our new Digital Marketing LAPs coming this summer! In addition, we recommend pairing this Action Brief with the following Performance Indicators (PIs):

  • PR:247—Describe word-of-mouth channels used to communicate with targeted audiences (SP)
  • PR:321—Explain the use of celebrities/influencers as a word-of-mouth strategy (SP)
  • PR:463—Explain ethical considerations in digital marketing (SP)

Our Action Briefs are built for the classroom:

  • Stay on top of business trends.
  • Review their impact on the workplace.
  • Start a conversation with your students.

How to access: We post our newest Action Briefs on our website, while the full archive is available on State’s Connection, organized by trend category.
