Winter Quarterly News Update

Happy New Year Business Education Friends,

Though it’s the coldest time of year, I hope your time back from the holiday break has brought much warmth to your professional soul.

Reflecting back on the last few months since our last newsletter, one event stands out above the others: ACTE's CareerTech VISION, our largest and most impactful event of the year. If you were able to attend, you know how awesome that energy felt. If not, I hope you are able to get to VISION this year where we’ll be in Nashville, Tennessee from Dec. 10-13. One of the highlights every year is accumlating a wealth of new resources for our students and recognizing the award winners. Our organization doesn’t exist without the core of its purpose, our students. In addition to VISION, your membership with ACTE provides a plethora of career and technical education (CTE) resources to help you successfully manage the challenges we face as educators. Check out some examples below of upcoming opportunities for you to take advantage of your membership.

Finally, to all those who voted for our next ACTE Vice President for the Business Education Division, THANK YOU! It has been our goal as a board to increase voter participation over the last couple years and we’re happy to see those numbers moving in the right direction. To that point, I’m excited to be turning the reins over to Jonathan Walker on July 1.

All the best in 2025,

Sean Crevier

VP, ACTE Business Education Division
