Delivering Presentations that WOW!
Wednesday, April 11
8:30 - 10:00 am
Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce

Everyone has to speak. Whether one is back room or front office, effectively delivering the message you want to get across is an everyday challenge. In this workshop you will learn to cope with sweaty palms, the dry throat, and the "I can't do this" panic that many times confronts even the best of presenters. In this session, we'll build on the speech writing techniques outlined in Lori Muhlstein's earlier class. Each participant will deliver in this class a captivating speech about their business and/or profession. Each will then be critiqued, allowing all to grow to a new level of presentation comfort and excellence. You will leave this class with tips that will improve your next presentation, and as a bonus, knowing a great deal more about all of your fellow Chamber colleagues!

Chuck Thornton is a speaker and marketer who has spoken before numerous groups, large and small. He has been an instructor of public speaking at Shenandoah University in Winchester and his wit, style and assessments will allow you to acquire tips to improve your public speaking.
