Digital businesses based in the Harrogate district, and across the Leeds City Region, are being invited to apply for grant funding of £10,000 to £50,000.
Subject to eligibility, funding can contribute towards the costs of your business investment needs including:
- office fit out
- equipment
- alterations to premises
- architects/design consultancy fees
- IT systems consultancy costs

A national programme of Get Ready for Brexit events, by the Department for International Trade, is being rolled out across Yorkshire in October.
Designed to help businesses prepare for Brexit, each session will consider
changes to regulations,contracts, business travel and how to treat personal data.
The government has issued a range of guidance for businesses that buy or sell goods to the EU, including
how to register for and make a
customs declaration and the
EORI mythbuster
.

Business waste - advice on disposing of waste legally
|
Every business has a Duty of Care to
safely contain and legally dispose of any waste they produce.
This includes ensuring that business waste is only passed on to an 'authorised person' and that a 'waste transfer note' is retained for two years.

National grant funding is available for businesses that complete customs declarations.

A new grant programme is supporting local companies with their travel options. T
he
Small Transport Scheme, from Harrogate Borough Council, offers businesses funding of up to
£5,000.
The application deadline for funding is
14 October.

Local Industrial Strategy for York and North Yorkshire - get involved

The York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership is asking local businesses and partners to help shape its
Local Industrial Strategy.
The strategy, which will be submitted to the UK Government later this year, will determine the next 20 years of productivity and growth.
