Hi Chamber Member,

We hope that you are doing well. Our next regularly scheduled meeting was set for Saturday, April 11, but with the library being closed through mid-April, along with all the other closings, we are going to cancel the meeting. So our next meeting will be Saturday May 9 at 9:00 a.m.

The May meeting is the one in which new officers are nominated, with the voting at the June meeting. This is an opportunity for the growth of the Chamber by having new officers. This is an opportunity for you to implement your ideas to improve the Chamber by holding an office. We have a great group of members with lots of knowledge and experience and willingness to help. Please consider holding an office. If you are interested, please contact me by email at [email protected].

To help your business during this time of slowed foot traffic, this may be the perfect opportunity to consider setting up online ordering/shopping for your customers.

With the health situation as it is and the government wanting us to not venture out, we'd like to share the following information with you so that if you have questions, you can contact the state for clarity.

Governor Eric J. Holcomb’s Executive Order 20-08, provides for essential and non-essential business operations, infrastructure and government functions while the state observes a stay-at-home order from March 25-April 7.

The Critical Industries Hotline is now available to help guide businesses and industries with the executive order.

This center, reachable by calling 877-820-0890 or by emailing [email protected] , is for business and industry questions only.

Please read Gov. Holcomb’s executive order and this FAQ page to clarify restrictions and acceptable activities and services under Monday’s Executive Order.

All of Gov. Holcomb’s Executive Orders can found here .

Respectfully,
Kevin Kelly
