FTR GOLF WINS THE PITCH-UP! COMPETITION
On Friday the 5th of April, six rural companies from across Alberta participated in a virtual pitch competition with a focus on scaling companies. Pitch-Up! offers Alberta-based entrepreneurs a provincial stage, a chance to be seen by the community of Innovators, Investors, and the entrepreneurial network in Alberta.
Each Regional Innovation Network was represented by a company who had five minutes to pitch their business and answer questions from a panel of judges. The East Central Alberta Region were proudly represented by FTR Golf who are based in Wainwright. This was a new experience for Sean Mills and Garrett Fraser of FTR, who hadn’t competed in a pitch competition before. They did a phenomenal job with their presentation, tackled the judges’ questions with confidence and were awarded with 1st place.
Congratulations to FTR Golf!
