COVID Precautions and the Retreat
It's not too late to join us at the Annual Labor Day Retreat! Click here for registration information. The Business Law Section is taking extra precautions to protect the health and well-being of all those attending this year’s Retreat, including social distancing in meeting rooms, outdoor seating options for dinners, outdoor areas for the hospitality suites, and providing masks to all attendees.

If you are not comfortable attending in person, most meetings will have either a call in or zoom option so you can attend virtually. Stay tuned, those links will be sent separately.

The very first Veteran’s Financial Literacy Program is set to lauch. The event will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in South Florida. It is currently plan to be a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting (with the flexibility to pivot, if necessary, to a fully virtual event). The Program is designed to assist our veteran community in learning to make educated financial decisions, and provide one-on-one counseling to veteran clients on the date of the event. The Veteran’s Financial Literacy Project is being put together in collaboration with the Pro Bono Committee and Financial Literacy Task Force of The Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., and Mission United Veterans Pro Bono Project of Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc.
