Labor Day Retreat Recap
It was a fabulous Labor Day weekend reuniting with everyone at the BLS Retreat. We had a fun time from casino night, to wine tasting, to karaoke. It was great to see so many faces (even if covered by a mask) that we hadn’t seen in person in almost two years. Again, we want to thank everyone who attended. And, we also want to give a special thanks to all of our sponsors who helped to make this weekend possible.
BLS Study Group Survey: Florida Exemptions
The members of Business Law Section study group on Florida Exemptions have been researching how the Florida exemptions compare to other states' exemptions, and whether the Florida exemption statutes should be updated and changed. This survey is intended to gather feedback on what, if any, of the exemptions should be modified, how, and to identify areas of concern or controversy if such a change was proposed. All submissions are anonymous.

Thank you for your participation and please feel free to circulate to your firms, organization, or a bar association whose membership you think would provide valuable insight and feedback. Responses are due by November 1, 2021 which is when we will be processing the results.
