Survey Regarding
Choice of State for Incorporation of Businesses
All members were sent a survey earlier this week from the Corporations Securities and Financial Services Committee regarding choice of jurisdiction for forming for-profit corporations. If you have not yet had a chance to fill out this short survey, please do so now!
Do you know someone who would make a great BLS Fellow?
The Section has a long-standing commitment to the recruitment of young and diverse lawyers to join, participate and ultimately serve in leadership positions of the Section. To facilitate these goals, the Section has created a Fellowship Program to provide a two-year subsidy to eight qualified applicants who express an interest in becoming active in the substantive work and leadership of the Section. In light of the current travel restrictions, I've planned for a domestic trip to Savannah, the first planned city in the country, full of history, legend and progress. I hope you will be able to join me and our colleagues after the long pause instilled upon us this year. With many outdoor activities, social distancing and safety precautions, we can empower each other as we embark on the new year. Don’t wait to sign up as availability is limited.
